Our Beliefs

Our Mission. Our Vision. Our Values

Our Mission

To empower, develop and grow a family of faith, to be the hands and feet of Jesus through Servanthood and Koinonia!

Outreach

Compassion

Abundance

Winning the lost by reaching out in faith outside the four walls of the church. (Matt 28:19)

Tending to the Widow, the Orphans; and helping the poor, sick and the lonely.

Teaching people about the abundant life that God gave us and the many gifts that He has for us, as believers.

Our Vision

to bring all people to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and build a church strong enough to push back the gates of hell. God and we the people at My Redeemer Lives Church welcome people of all cultures. Everyone is always welcome to worship a living God with us.

Our Values

The culture of My Redeemer Lives is guided by our distinctive values and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. These values serve as a reminder to us that God expects us to live a Godly life before all of mankind. We must be motivated by God’s agape love for all people. We must treat all people in a way that will be pleasing to God.

Our Doctrine

We are a Spirit filled church that believes in One God, Infinite Spirit, Creator, and Sustainer of all things, Who eternally exists in three persons. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are One in essence but distinct in person and function.

Deu.6:4, Exodus 20:3, I Corinthians 8:4-6; Ephesians 4:3-6, and Matt. 28:19

We believe that the Father is the first person of the Trinity. He is the designer of creation, the author of redemption and the sovereign One of all history.

Genesis 1, I Peter 1:2; Eph. 1:3-4

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity. We believe that Jesus was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and He lives forever as perfect God and perfect Man.

Matthew 1:18, Luke 1:26-38, John 1:1,3; Colossians 1:17

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He is the giver of all life, active in the creating of the Universe; He is the agent of inspiration and the new birth; He restrains sin and Satan; and He indwells and sanctifies all believers.

Acts 5:3-4, I Cor. 2:10, I Cor. 6:19; John 3:5-6

We believe the Bible, both the Old and the New Testaments, though written by men, was supernaturally inspired by the Holy Spirit so that all its words are true and a written revelation of God; it is therefore, inerrant in the originals and authoritative in all matters.

John 17:17, II Timothy 3:15-17, Hebrews 1:1; II Peter 1:21

We believe that all things were created by God. The universe was created in six historical days and is continually sustained by God. Human beings were created not evolved, in the very image of God.

Genesis; Hebrews 11:3

We believe that the Lord Jesus died for our sins, according to the Holy Scriptures, as a representative and substitute sacrifice. He fulfilled all the demands of God by His Obedient life, died on a cross in payment for our sins, was buried, and on the third day He arose physically from the dead. He ascended into heaven where He now intercedes for all believers. We believe that each person can be saved only through the work of Jesus Christ, by repentance of sin and faith alone in Him as Savior.

Matt. 20:28, John 1:29; Romans 6:23

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all who are born again, conforming them to the likeness of Jesus Christ. Every believer is responsible to live in obedience to the Word of God in separation from sin.

John 7:37-39, Acts 11:16-17, Romans 5:5; Ephesians 1:13

We believe that the church is a local assembly of believers, under the discipline of the Word of God and the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It functions through the ministry gifts given by the Holy Spirit to each believer. We believe and observe the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s supper.

Acts 10:28, I Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 5:25, Hebrews 12:23

We believe in the personal, imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The unsaved will be judged according to their works and separated forever from God in hell. The saved will live forever in Heaven in fellowship with God.

Matt. 24:27, Acts 1:11, Thess. 1:10; I John 2:28
